Washington National Opera Young Artist Program Recital

The Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program's recital series offers the opportunity to experience powerful voices and unique artistry in cultural and historic settings around the city. This is a chance to witness the stars of tomorrow’s international opera stages up close, performing some of the world’s most beautiful and personal music. Each recital focuses on the collections and exhibitions on display at each venue, deepening audience members’ understanding of how artists influence each other’s work across different genres - an ideal way to explore the connections between text and music; poetry and art; sound, shape, and color.

Through the Museum’s collection of Impressionist, Expressionist, and Cubist works, the audience will learn more about both art and music and spend time with some of America’s greatest young singers. The performance will include insightful narration from Program Director, Robert Ainsley. This program is generously supported by Jacqueline Badger Mars. Tickets: $40 | Members: $30
